-in the past I have no problems , now someone messed with my settings -

I have two pads hooked through the EMS controller. When you start Stepmania you can press enter on the first pad and select with the second pad but it will only go Singles and not Doubles???? I uninstalled and reinstalled and still can not get both get SM to recognize that there are two working pads. (StepMania 3.9 alpha 12).

Anyone have any clues?

pardon me if this is a stupid solution, but you do realize you have to press start for both pads right? by default pad 1 is the enter botton on the ketboard, and pad 2 start botton is the number pad enter.
hope that helps.

I had the same problem. Sometimes for some reason step mania could not detect that I had two pads plugged in at the singles/doubles selection screen. But once I started the songs it picked up the pad fine. the solution I found was to just unplug the pad and plug it back in. If your using both pads through the one port as some adapters do, try tricking it by plugging something else into the other port.
Hope I helped.

Peace Out E1.gif
