I have an EMS usb dual gun convertor, and its not working... I am running windows XP, and have USB 1.1 (I think... Pretty sure)
Basically, it worked a few nights ago - but stopped working after I restarted, I spent an hour trying to reload the drivers ("EMS USB Adapter Drivers 08-01-2002"), but windows wouldn't see it in the game controller area. (It did see the convertor before, as a PS1 controller)
I read through the FAQ posts, and tried to download http://www.levelsix.com/download/USB_Driver.zip , but the server is down .
Does anyone have any advice? I have unplugged the convertor, loaded the drivers, plugged it back in; loaded them while its plugged in; and a bunch of other methods - none work... Its very irritating and making me mad - I modded my DDR pad to have a huge hunk of thick wood underneith it (works GREAT), so it is NOT fun carrying it from my TV room, to computer room (Which I would need to do, if I wanted to play DDR again).
Oh and some unrelated information: I use Stepmania, and my pad is a redoctane (But that shouldn't matter, since I've tried plugging in my PS1 controller into the convertor)
Erm... Also: Its kinda annoying to have to wait 3 hours to post on this forum I wanted to play DDR before 1am, but it looks like I don't have a chance to now. |

make sure the switch is set to PC, not GAME. That switched on me once, and when it's switched to game it doesn't do a thing. |

Edit: Works now thanks... Had to unplug, turn on PC, uninstall HID device, reinstall the drivers THEN plug it in... Way too complex |
