I recently bought some DDR soundtracks. I was just flippin' through the DDR Extreme booklet to see if any of it was legible, and came across some notes written by DDR artists. Naoki wrote his in English.
Naoki Maeda wrote: | Time has gone...
The revolution of DDR started in 1998. Without being exhausted, a revolution is repeated and it is 2003 at the time... The latest work of DDR which hung up the big title "EXTREME" was produced.
What is DDR for me? That to which its life has changed a lot. and -- what drives the thought which all uses up its music ... music was made while various situations will enclose their surroundings four years followed with DDR people who aid made it make.
I feel that it was able to be born again, thanks to DDR. It is already coming till the place which cannot return in 1998 at these days. However, there should just be a thought which restricts and does not have a limitation in a certain time. And it is as long as the word "dream" exists in this world, "dream" is not exhausted...
beginning from the endless...
If it can meet once again with future, I will want you to show the dance in character with you whom I remember.

Truly, Naoki speaks for all of us who are Japanese DDR playing ESL students. |

I have a set of DDR sound tracks, (DDR 2nd Mix, DDR Solo 2000, DDR 5th Mix, and DDR Extreme) and I didn't get any type of a booklet with mine! Mine is just a paper CD case with pictures of a DDR machine on it and the list of songs on the back. Crap! I want that. _________________

Hmm....cool Engrish like whoa in some places, heh... but hey we're not all perfect.
Yes it is "that place where we cannot return to 1998", hopefully Konami will crank out just one more DDR... _________________

Yep...very enlightening for the future of DDR...even if it's primarily talking about how DDR used to be. Hope there will be some light for DDR in the near future.. |

I think it's DDRfreak's new way of making money.. like Spawn and Terminator often make links. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]
