I have two MyMyBox pads (The 6 panel ones that say "stay cool" on them and have the start and select buttons on the back right corner...)
and took a break from DDRing for a while, and during this period of time, the pads were seperated from their cables that link them to the playstation. Does anyone know of a source for this cable? It is DB-9 pin male on one end and PSX on the other. I have attempted using a control box for another pad, but this does not work. I have also attempted to splice a new cable for myself out of a psx controller extension cable and the appropriate 9 pin serial cable, but cannot get this avenue to work either. I just can't figure out the wiring between the playstation cable and the db-9, it's not as straightforward as I imagined, at all. Can't get a single arrow or button to work. Can anyone help me??? Either to fashion a new cable or to buy a new pair??? Please... E2.gif

i dont kno about the wiring but i think ur pad wont work bc of the wiring is wrong or the box is messup.

my metal pad was mess up bc of the start and the select button. and the pad works only on konami for some reason. the select was stuck and no way to fix it. well there is but i had to take all the wiring out and redo the whole pad.

I am in the same situation, did anything ever happen with your replacement cable? My MyMyBox pad was starting to flake out, and we found out it was the cable that was busted. But the buy new cable like doesn't work!!!

No reply from email either.
