I heard this from a friend who has been playing ddr for quite some time now. He said the Spin the Disc can hypnotize people and they stop hitting arrows; eventually failing. Now, I have not seen anyone get hypnotized by it. I have even played it and I havent been hypnotized. Im wondering if anyone else has heard this, if anyone has seen this happen, or if its happened to anyone. My friend said that the disc in the background hypnotizes you if you look at it. Id imagine itd be pretty hard, seeing as you're probably looking at the arrows, not at the background. So, if anyone knows..its much appreciated.

It hasn't hypnotized me. Maybe your friend is making too much of a point to focus on the disc? I'm not sure I've even noticed it.

You can't be hypnotized unless you allow it to happen, that is why hypnotist ask for willing subjects.

Actually...sometime when I play Spin The Disc I'll go to hit a double down arrow..like one after the other...and for the second one I'll try to move my leg and it just stops and WONT move giving me a couple of random misses...its happened twice but I usually get in the lower teens on that song. It's very odd. Almost like I don't have control over my leg at those parts. Weirdness

Every time I play MGS2 on standard on Ultramix I start watching the backgrounds and miss one pair of right-arrow eighth notes. Every single time I play that song I get all perfects except those two misses. It's kinda freaky...

Yea.... It's like in this one song where they have repetitive 8th notes all with one foot and you can see them and you can do them, but for some reason it's like your leg is frozen..... erm.gif
