A rather enraged Mimi peered up from her ESSENCE magazine in time to catch the face of her friend turning red.

Nyami spat. "I'm just telling the truth! That "rag" is published for people that actually CARE what others think of them!"

"What's your point? I happen to care a great deal about my appearance." Cooed Mimi, nibbling on the tip of her ear. "I'm trying to actually impress a GUY! You may know him as -"

"Oh ho ho ho, let me stop you right there. You ain't talking about Ash.. are you? That .. LOSER?"

"He's a dream." Quivered Mimi, letting loose a sigh that filled the room.

Nyami's eye twitched.

"...He's a DOG!"

"Oh big flip flapping deal. Didn't you have a thing for that Roku dude? Last I checked, he's a HUMAN."

If one listened quietly enough, a snap could be heard emitting from within Nyami's brain.

"WELL THERE AIN'T MANY OTHER CATS AROUND HERE, Y'KNOW?"

"Then DROP IT."

Nyami plopped down on the couch besides Mimi and didn't utter a word. They definetly were good friends.. just..

*Well.. arguing can be healthy once in a while...* Mimi thought, hoping she was correct.

They had known each other since childhood, and spent impressive amounts of time together, discussing anything under the sun.. unless the sun itself came into the discussion.

Indeed, People in the Popn'world were not truly adults until they had full formed Scleras. Having soley pupils meant that.. well.. you wouldn't be allowed to drink alcohol, as an example.

Mimi slammed the magazine down.

"Well, that's quite enough of that. Up for ice cream?"

"Oh sure Mimi.. maybe if I was a baby." She held back her laugher at Mimi's expression. "C'mon, I'm taking you dancing!"

...Only taking roughly an hour to get ready, they were off to have a night they hoped they wouldn't forget.
