|
|
Yea I can do the first stream of the double stomp arrows, but when it gets to the second one later on in the song I just always seem to be turned the wrong way and I can't hit them all, I would be turning all awkwardly and stuff. So what is the best posistion to be in at the start of the stream? I need help this is holding me back from AA it |

My best advice is, Check the DDR Gameplay Discussion Board! You should have read the sticky post about "Please post gameplay discusstion in the Gameplay board". _________________

He is right, but just to save DDRFreak space and wasted time, I'll reply anyways.
You mean Double pad or two steps at once when you say "double steps"?
I'll assume you mean double pad. If you can do the other stream just do that again. Try to study the steps and figure out how to do them. Stomping is probably bad because of damage to the pad and occupying your muscles in a downward motion instead of a horizontal motion. It can also damage your muscles and/or tire you out quicker. You don't really need to stomp anyways because you already know the beat, it's just stream. Good luck! _________________

You never need to double step in R&P. Just cross-over heaven. _________________

2nd column to the last, with the purple arrows, starts as down down, up up, right right, and so on. And no this is on single heavy |

Look at the purple arrows you're talking about (down down, up up, ...). RIGHT before that part, there's a right arrow. This is because this section is all "gallops."
What you do it, exactly on the beat do the right arrow, then very quickly following do the first of the two down arrows. Then you do a short pause, and then exactly on the next beat do the second down arrow, followed immediately by the first of the two up arrows, etc. Linearly it would look like:
... ... ....
For a better audial representation, go to www.aaroninjapan.com/ddrindex.html and find the video of him AAAing R&P Maniac. Watch when he plays... the quick two steps are like rocking between two arrows, not double stepping. You've just been reading one arrow too fast that whole section.
Man, it's hard explaining gallops online. _________________
