Lets get the typical new guy stuff out of the way, "hey i'm new here"
okay Cartoon Heroes on Heavy is CRAZY hard. I have mastered it on standard but then i tried heavy and it's WAY too much
i love the song though it's one of my fav. steps in Extreme. _________________

Listen to wise uncle BioClown, noob.
Cartoon Heroes is probably the pinnacle of 9-footer skill. If you can A that song, then you can officially call yourself a Lord of the Dance. However, the steps can be very simple if the pattern is known. Just remember where certain "irregular" steps are and practice those, and you'll be able to pass it. By the way, I passed it with an A. _________________

cartoon heros is deffinately the most difficult of the 9 footers. However, get an A on it and consider yourself Master of Dance? You gotta be kidding me. I can AA it and I barely consider myself "good". AAA Cartoon heros, then you will be master of dance. Practice the song alot, learn the steps, and build up your stamina. After all that, passing the song will be cake if youre an alright player. Bringing it up to a AA is very difficult i still dont do it every time. Very hard song, but also very doable. Good Luck. |

Yes. Because I am on the verge og AAing it, so I would be a lord of the dance. I like that idea. _________________

Cartoon Heroes isn't easy, but I still think that So Deep is harder to pass, as far as 9's are concerned. |

i totally disagree, i actually think so deep is one of the easiest 9 footers, if not the easiest. As long as you have stamina and can listen to music it should be no problem. |

Cartoon Heroes isn't that hard, I passed it first time I played it, maybe second time because I might've quit the first time.
I personally consider Cartoon Heroes one of the easier Catas. It involves steps that you can learn on MaxX standard (the steps I'm thinking about anyway) and it doesn't compare to the end run of Drop Out which is still easy in itself. Maybe it's just hard to PA and easy to pass? |

I passed 5 10 footers before i passed cartoon heroes..so imo it's FUCKING terrible. if you have it on sm or home versions..play the crap out of it, play it with assist tick, and just try and break the song into sections. Also, keep trying it (having a friend play it on a easier difficulty to spot you while you try on heavy could help too) _________________

No, being lord of the dance comes when you freestyle AAA bag (i.e. put your hands on your waist). AAAing Cartoon Heroes just makes you a Cartoon Hero freak, imo
CH is without a doubt the hardest 9 footer in my opinion. Burning Heat takes a spot somewhere close, but CH is evil. So many different techniques are thrown at you in very close proximity. I think the songs that don't just rely on one technique are the hardest; Sweet Sweet <3 Magic to me is also quite underrated. That's a good warmup song for Cartoon Heroes, imo...if you can AA Sweet Sweet <3 Magic you should be well on your way to getting CH. |

Cartoon Heroes is a pretty easy song to me, although i can't AA it yet, but i have no problems with it.....But yea So Deep is a whole lot easier to me, i came 2 greats away fro AAing it....The hardest cata in my opinion is probably....well i dont really have any problems w/ any of them....damn... i think The Least 100 Sec. is harder than any cata |

Cartoon heroes is not difficult to pass but, it is difficult to get good PA on it witout paractice. I passed on my first try, the first time I played extreme at A.I., after I donnated a pint of blood. It was like being drunk, but more mind numbing and sickening. |

Cartoon Hereos is one the hardest 9's, period. I still have trouble passing it reliably, and I still can't get an A on it yet either...
However, I still say So Deep is harder, because it's rhytm is harder to keep steady. They are still both top teir in terms of difficulty.
As for the guy how said TL100S is harder....what's wrong with you?
(It may be harder to AAA then virtually all songs, but that has to do with the offbeatness of the steps more than anything...) _________________

Yes is hard I haven't passed it yet I get half way then thats it as for so deep I can get a C if I do really good it was one of the songs that I wanted to learn maybe this I'll Cartoon Heros a try to see if I can get it down. Far as stamina goes LOM on Standard PSM on Standard A on Heavy and Des-Row I think those are some good stamina builders. DDR 4 EVER. |

I recently just played it on Heavy for the first time at an arcade, and stamina was definitely the issue. But once you get the gallops down, it's really not that bad. I practiced it on Stepmania a lot beforehand, and I have to say I don't think it's that hard of a cata. Just like any other song, you just have to learn the steps. Tsugaru is harder in my opinion, it has lots more gallops and a bunch of twists. Hey, that's just me. _________________

Mysterio: Just my opinion about TL100S bro, it took me longer to pass that than any other cata, other than exotic ethnic(i now have a AA on EE)...Last time i did TL100S i got an A for the first time though....
But I still think you people are crazy for sayin that Cartoons Heroes and So Deep are the hardest catas:\....it's just not right yo! So Deep is soooo easy, if you have stamina at least.....maybe thats what it is, you think CH is hard cuz you dont have enough stamina??
HVAM... havent seen that one mentioned in here, that one is hard too, definately harder than So Deep!! How bout Gradiusic Cyber and Orion.78(civilization mix)? Those are hard to PA? |

Gradiusic is a doggy to PA. Orion Civ Mix is almost as bad. Tsugaru has one difficult part: *jump* LRL *jump*. There aren't many 'twists' at all. It has some basic crossovers and basic gallops and that's it. HVAM is all double stepping and stamina. If you think So Deep is that easy than you should not be having problems with HVAM either. And as for So Deep - if you can't consistently AA with 20 or so greats then you have no business calling it 'easy'.
Back on topic, you show me another song that has the jump steps, gallops mixed with crossovers, hammer steps, triplets, double steps, and general evilness all present in Cartoon Heroes; there isn't one. Plenty of 9s focus on one element - examples would be Stoic for jump steps, EE for turning, HVAM for double stepping, Matsuri for gallops, CSFILSM for hammer steps and crossovers, etc. The only other song I see that's close to combining all those elements is SSLM, and that's not nearly as tricky as CH. |
