Look, I would have looked at all of the billions of posts but my computer can't handle it all so I made this post. My soft stock DDR Pad from Konami broke. When I press left arrow then back (w/o lifting up left foot). So I can't do this (<V) The only way my back arrow works is if I tap it w/o pressing anything else! Making me tap dance! Is there a fix before I get my BNS Mat on March 10th! E19.gif

Ah, I am far too familiar with soft-pad blues... Your problem is that you have a soft pad. Sad but true: Soft Pads have a lifespan, and usually a very short one, at that. My softs usually last about a month to four months before they need replacement. So I thought it best to go for a metal. But then I saw the prices. Jeez they're high. So I thought up the next best thing (actually it turned out to be better), and I built my own metal pad. It cost about 80 bucks less than a retail metal, and it's not that hard (Then again, not too easy) to build. I got my instructions from [urlwww.geocities.com/ddrhomepad[/url]. A word of advice if you're gonna follow through with the construction: Soldering the panels is hard work... so be patient, lest ye be burned alive by a soldering iron.

Hope this helps you out. I know it did for me.

All soft mat topics belong in the soft mat thread.

Ya, soft pad discussion.

Btw, I got a BNS pad, and i sucks buttocks. I had to take it apart and work on it cause it's like ply wood. Try the one on the cover of DDRFreak page. Looked better. E13.gif
