getting asynchronous when using bg videos?

because i wanted to have a more "official" feeling to the songs i play with stepmania i downloaded a few videos and the necessary sm-files

when i tried it out i realised that when the videos are displayed the song gets asynchronous. i tried setting the res to 320x240 and everything else as low as possible too because my pc only has 1,5ghz. but even while running with 57-60fps i have that problem. i also noticed that there seem to be slight stutters now and then which are so minimal that they have no effect on the fps-counter but could that perhaps be the problem anyway?

i mean i can't really imagine why that should be a problem because even if you play at just 30 fps because your pc is too slow the notes should be synchronized with the song as well i guess? so why is that a problem with the videos? and is there a way to get rid of it?

even if SM stutters or skips a little, it doesn't go offsync. The problem is with the SM files - they were probably made for an earlier version of the MP3. (This is actually quite common. The files need to be updated.)

great now it's working - there was just one "measure" missing at the beginning...
