Could anyone who has run a tournament or been to one tell me who sponsored the tournament. Any type of sponsors would be appreciated, but I would like to know non-ddr related companies rather than ddr releated companies which have sponsered tournaments.

Bemanistyle sponsored EATII I believe. In return we made videos and sold them, and the money helped Bemanistyle.

www.redoctane.com

Also, look around at some businesses that are nearby. For example, there have been a couple tournaments in Colorado that have gotten anime stores to sponsor them.

According to the t-shirts given to the competitors, the DDR Storm III tourney in Jacksonville, Florida was sponsored by Namco, DDR Freak, Red Octane, Cobalt Flux, Big City Comics, and Adventure Landing.

Red Bull is pretty hard it seems, since you gotta right them a letter.
And Pepsi as well.

Currently it seems like I'm breakin the boundaries on sponsors.
I got no clue if I am, but it seems like it.

Aiming for, A card and comic place, bawls, red bull, Pepsi, Red Octane, Cobalt Flux, Mtv, and Mr wiggles.

Might go for Taco bell as well, not sure.

Anti-perspirant and a good diet could cost how many millions of dollars? While a simple black T-shirt costs me $3 at Walgreens.
You do the math.[/quote]

Also, any local buisnesses near the arcade can usually give some gift certificates as lower prizes in trade for having a small banner near the machine or something.

Oh . . . for tournaments? I guess that would work, too.

What I usually do is play a round of catas, then if just one or two people are watching, offer to have them 'sponsor' my next round (i.e. pay for it). Is this wrong or just evil?
