hey

i am running stepmania 3.9 alpha 12, and i have an ems2 usb converter, and a soft pad. i tested the pad on my ps2 and it works fine. however, when i start up stepmania, when it says "press start" when i press start on the keyboard or the pad, it quits out. whats the problem?
