metal pad for xbox?

are there any metal pads for xbox out yet?? and if not how would i make one, so i can include these steps?

The guide linked in the message before yours (and in my sig) has the basics for making even a cheap control box.

You could cut the price down to about $30 by doing the following:

1) Buy a $15 pad instead of a $25 pad
2) Don't put any fancy buttons on the box (that cuts $30 right there)
3) Use a smaller project box
4) Don't use terminal strips at all

A basic control box design would end up looking almost exactly like beavstir's project, except you would need to modify the design slightly to accomodate the new 15 pin connectors on the CF 2.0's.

you can go to radioshack or some other tech place and buy a convertor for 3 dollars tops, all it does is connect to it and convert it into 15 pin.

Yeah, but a 9 pin to 15 pin converter will leave off pin 10, which is used as the center switch if you have a CF 2.0. If you don't plan on ever using that, that'd be fine.

See, i have no idea what you are talking about, i dont know what a control box is, i dont play xbox live i just want a metal pad that plugs into the xbox

(im an idiot, i know i just got ddru this friday and i dont know whats what really.)
