I got stepmania compiled and install in slackware today. when i try to run it from the console though it gives me and error about not finding the songs. So where do i put the songs so they can be found? |

Songs need to be in a folder in the same directory as your excecutable. For example, so if its /usr/local/bin/stepmania, all your folders (Songs, Themes etc.) have to be in /usr/local/bin. |

Thanks i ended up just downloadin the precompliled one and runnin it in that directory. But i will move all the thing b/c it would be easyer that way. Also i can only play as root. It gives me an error about no sound driver installed when i try to play as a normal user. |
