you mean from taping your pad to the floor so it wouldn't move? I would try de-solv-it or something along those lines.
But instead of actually taping to the floor to keep it from moving, get one of those office mat thingies which you put on carpet so desk chairs can roll around easily on them (the ones with the 'cleats' on the bottom) and taping your pad to that. It'd keep you pad from moving and keep your carpet tape residue-free. E4.gif

I haven't tried it myself, so i can't be absloutely sure it works. I beleive it should work, but you should talk with someone who's tried it before, first.

Yea..It's from duct tape keeping them on the floor. I've since modded the pads, but my parents are going to kill me if the marks stay on the carpet. frust.gif

Unfortunately, you might be out of luck. I've tried to do the same in the pass with not much success. You can try nail polish remover or brake cleaner but duct tape is actually pretty hard to remove.

You can buy a can of de-solvent at a hardware store (Home Depot).
The chair mat helps but even they can slip (I put my pad under the mat then duct tape it to the floor) 'specially if you play with shoes.
There is also special tape (Gaffer's tape etc.) that no longer leaves that sticky residue.
