How about editing steps and using your own song?

I think the edit mode would be better if you could edit steps for a song that you like. I guess you wouldn't be able to do it on PS2 but on an X Box version of DDR it would be kool if you could put a CD on there and use songs from the CD to create steps for them. I guess it's ok making new steps for the songs already on DDR, but there's lost of songs that I would want on DDR that aren't, and that would be a way to put them on DDR. kinda...er...so, yeah. Anybody have anything to say?

I'm sorry to have to break the news to you, but Konami is not a charity. It's a business, and all they really care about is your money. If you can put your own song/steps in the game, you'll never buy another mix. This makes Konami sad.

The best you're going to get is downloadable song packs like for Ultramix.

Yeah I figured it would be something about money like that. But then it could be another game or something. Like DDR SONG MAKER!!! And I haven't heard of X-Step but I know StepMania so I'll look into it, thanks

I've always wanted to find a song with the same BMP/length as a song from max 1 or max 2 and just turn the volume down and play the song off a CD. might work.
