They sell Pop'n Music ASCs for their ORIGINAL yen price of ¥30,000, which is about $280 right now. Too bad they're out of stock right now. They'll be back in stock when Konami releases the next batch. But keep this site in mind if you don't want to continue to be raped by Himeya ~_^

hmm, this could be pretty sweet. even if the shipping costs are relatively big i doubt it'll go up to the price himeya asks. you know if they're taking pre-orders atm? i notice the price says "email" currently, but i don't really want to get into a situation where i feel obliged to order :/
it would be a nice time for me to order though, what with the dollar being *really* weak currently |

I just did the order right up to the part where you would have to pay, and EMS shipping would cost $205.78. Ouch. FedEx and UPS would be $188.18 for either, which isn't much better.

$205 for EMS is just utter BS. I'd demand the original receipt from the post office for that kind of outrageous shipping price.
Shipping anything as large as a pop'n ASC overseas is expensive, but not THAT expensive.

Yes. I don't know if EMS is the same all over the world but if you look at konamistyle the controller weighs 2.8 kg. So with box and packing material it should weigh somewhere 4 kg. A 4kg package would then cost 6800 yen = approx $65
I am going to ask my friend i Japan soon to buy both this and the Beatmania controller. He will send with surface (two months) but the price will be 70000 yen ($653) shipped. Quite ok.
