in a bunch of bestbuys and circuit cities near me, they have had DDRMAX2 on display with a complete setup [pads (though a tad sucky E15.gif ) and big tv]. anyone ever have the fun of playing ddr in the middle of a bestbuy to the bewilderment of passerbys. its heaps of fun + free. laugh.gif

That's messed, but I like it. I do that at Toys R Us. I go and just play sample games all day. And when they ask me "Can I help you?", I just say "No, I'm good."

There used to be a set-up like that outside of Babbages at our local mall. But it was mainly just weirdos trying it out, and the pads were so horrible it didn't really matter.

Plus, it looked like they had been stomped to death.

Do they have that setup year-round? I went in before Christmas and thought it might only be to catch the Christmas rush.

I was playing Ultramix at best buy just before christmas, wowed some little girls with my mad skillz E13.gif Exotic Ethnic on standard. They were shocked, then a latino family came over and started watching me, that is a bit odd, cause I don't know any spanish beyond seaseme street...

I find it funny how people can have such enjoyment playing in a department store. 10 dollar pad? Check please.

Places down here don't do stuff like that, comes to show how lame the stores are. But, they have other stuff like gameboy things you can play; gee I'm off subject again? Only if the arcade machine was free.. E13.gif

You guys do realize in part they're using you. Think of yourself as a celebrity acting for a commercial. Since you're decent level (hopefully) other's will look at you and think you're soooo cool E7.gif

They think that, they buy from that store, store gets a profit. And they didn't have to pay you a dime to act for them devil.gif

I've never seen a setup like that. I need to go to best buy and circuit city more often then. There just aren't enough people in the mall to get a lot of attention. People need to pay more attention to their surroundings.

I played Tsugaru on heavy in the middle of a Game Stop (there were more songs but I can't remember which other ones). It was quite fun. The workers finally wondered what I was doing because I wasn't buying anything. I told them that I was using their facility to feed my addiction...They looked at me kind of weirdly...I think I scared them. They ended up being nice to me though because I bought stuff there.
