Maybe you guys ought to create a thread(I think thats the word) for things that just have no reason, such as the topic I created in Random Chat called "Words that ryme with PHUT!" And also, I apoligize for not remembering that part of the FAQ.

Quick Edit: And thats the point. Just doing things for no good reason whatever. Like paintball. Theres no good reason for it, but it's fun. I anticpate the sheer Fun-ness of such a thread would make this a better place.

Pointless stuff just kills bandwidth. And bandwith to DDRFreak is like the Ring to Gollum.

They can't think straight if the forum is down. They start to get crazy thoughts of sabotage stuck in their heads. They demand to have their bandwidth back, so they may continue to admire the sole fact that they have DDRFreak, and that they have more power over us hobbitses...

Anyway, if we have a ton of pointless stuff coming into a forum that welcomes it, there are likely to be threads made that may offend some people. The forum would become a giant flame war. That, stacked on top of the useless garbage coming in would kill the bandwidth and possibly drive many people away, looking upon this as an irrelevant and unfriendly site.

1) Bandwidth
2) Possibility of Flames

Here's how I feel about this:

On this forum, you have two options:

1) Making threads that have a point, such as "What's your favorite anime?" or "What modes do you think will be on the next DDR mix?"

2) Making threads that don't have a point, such as "Pick a random word!"

Both can be fun. One is considered a waste of bandwidth (== money). The other is not.

So why not make a thread that is both fun and not a waste of bandwidth (== money)?
