this is one of my favorite freestyles that i've seen, i couldn't remember who did it at which tourny, or even the song, i think it was petit love... anywho, the downloads are down, and i was just wondering if anyone had a mirror to it, if so, i'd greatly appreciate it

It was PMG and...someone else. The song was Petite Love.

Unfortunately I do not have a copy of the video, but maybe if you bugged PMG about it (look around one of the Cali forums for his exact username. I think it's "SPF5.PMG") then he may be able to send it to you.

... was truly a really great freestyle.

It was choreographed very nicely.

It had execellent use of props.

They had great crowd reaction.

Everything a freestyler wants.

Hell, if I could do something like that, it'd be worth putting on a Pikachu costume and dancing on a DDR pad in an open public place during the day.

Yes that was myself and Chronos at Matsuri AI (October 2001)

It was the follow-up to our Afronova routine, which was done at AI2 in March of the same year.

Travelling Priest - That routine was put together in 5 days. Also, we never practiced on a real machine. That video is the 1st time we ever did it. We took step charts and practiced on square tiles at my house.

Heh, that was probably the most flamboyantly homosexual yet totally hilarious DDR freestyle I've ever seen. The bit where candy's tossed at the crowd is bloody brilliant because it's so totally random.

I think people loved it at the time (and still now) just because there was nothing like it ever seen. I remember people from Japan making comments on how even over there they'd seen nothing like the pre-jackass style antics Chronos and I did.

Stupid Costumes, Stupid Choreography, Slapping him (full force) in the face, throwing candy, wearing tight leotards that excentuated our balls, Stupid chating, throwing a giant catfish (not a tuna) for absolutely no reason....it was just really groundbreaking and sadly, there isn't much more innovation like that was when we did it.

on a side note he DID hit me with it and it hurt very much.

At the very end of the routine, I believe it was a steel folding chair used for gardening.
