This Christmas I recieved a Naki softpad for Xbox and a copy of DDR: Ultramix, (Believe me, I had wanted the official bundle and wasn't too happy about a 3rd party pad). So I modded the pad by putting it under a plastic carpet cover and got ready to play on Xbox Live when I noticed the first problem, this pad has two slots for memory cards, but a headset won't fit in them (The notches are incorrect sizes). Second and most frustrating, I joined a game and saw myself being picked up as a controller. Either this was a game error, or my Naki softpad was very poorly made. I'm assuming that Naki simply took a PS2 pad and adapted it to play on Xbox, which would explain my being picked up as a controller. My question is, has anyone else experienced this problem with a Naki soft pad and Ultramix?
I've played and won 15 games so far but nothing feels rewarding when I have kids yelling at me because they think I'm on a controller. So I have to unplug to Naki softpad, plug in a controller, tell them I'm playing on a pad, then unplug the controller and re-plug in the soft pad. I'm incredibly pissed off about it, I'm going to have to go and buy an official pad, and any songs I've cleared so far will have been pointless. _________________
