Cool - thanks for that!

Just one thing I noticed - no numerals for the feet rating?
Oh, and Konaman, the link for the Extreme Announcer doesn't work? Did you finish this announcer pack or are you still working on it?

For some reason, I am having trouble with choppy arrrows, too, using this skin. Pity, since it looks so awesome. If anyone has any suggested resolutions for this problem, I'd love to hear them. Great work nevertheless, DarkTemplar, I'm sure it's just partially because of my lousy computer.

Yeah, I think something is up with the arrows. I use a 2.4GHz, and now and again my arrows skip with this theme. I'm guessing that they skip a lot more with less processing power.

Actually it's a fault with the skin metrics and the Danger movie. Luckily, a solution was found at DDRManiaX.net (and approved by DarkTemplar himself), so here it is!

Quote:

1. Browse to the \Themes\DDREXcomplete\BGAnimations folder.
2. Select the folders "ScreenGameplay danger p1" and "ScreenGameplay danger p2" and delete them.
3. You're done! Now enjoy the theme. happy.gif

The reason I'm asking to do this is because this caused lag in game. Don't worry, through "ScreenGameplay danger all," the danger screen will still show up and good too. So have fun!!!

Was this in reference to the arrow issue? I deleted the movie as you said, but I still have the arrow problem. It occurs randomly, not just when in danger.

Well, it worked for me, and yes, it was in reference to the arrow problem. I'm not sure what your problem is then, and since I don't know everything about this theme or this problem, I suppose I'll link to the discussion about this on the DDRManiaX forums.

I was able to alleviate much of the lag by deleting those two videos, but there's still a bit left over. While this question may border on asinine, I'm wondering if any other files are expendable that might improve performance?

HERE's the GAMEPLAY LAG FIX!

Go to \Themes\DDREXcomplete\BGAnimations and delete these folders:

ScreenGameplay danger p1
ScreenGameplay danger p2

but leave "ScreenGameplay danger all" alone. now you'll still see the shark but with little to no lag E4.gif

Stupid newb question: do you HAVE to delete the folders, or could you just rename them to something else, for a future time when the issue is fixed by the SM team?
