How's the chubby pad mod?

Anyone use it? I'm thinking of using it instead of just taping my pad to a board and putting cardboard under the arrows. Heres a link http://ucsub.colorado.edu/~geddes/chubbypad/index.html I'm just worried about slipping while in my socks and if the pad would wear out faster without padding under the arrows. BTW it's for my Xbox pads. Also, do you really need to put accryllic over all the buttons? Why not just the arrows?

I just looked at it, and i'm going to use it.
Do'nt use cardboard though. It will crush quickly under weight. Why not just use what the instructions say? it's not that expensive.

I also think it is a good idea i am going to go get the supplies tomorow, as soon as someone builds theirs reply with how it works!

I am going to put costum made paper arrows between my pad and acrylic though that way it will have my own little touch

Also i am going to may the stay cool circle be a circle still instead of making it a square

P.S. SNIGLUM, i dont know about you but it would bug me to have half my pad raised and have small/soft

I am even doing the start and select buttons!
