Are there any songs in DDR that you think the steps are so perfect, that changing them in any way would ruin the song for you?
I think So Deep's Heavy steps and R&P's heavy steps are perfect the way they are, and will never change them. I also think BreAkdown's standard steps are perfection.
On the other hand, are there any steps you think were terrible flops and could have obviously been better?

Hold on me. Any PPP song is screaming for 16th notes.

It has one! hahaha... but yes, there are way too many eurobeat songs where the steps are much too simple for the music.

As for "perfect steps", I don't really think there are any. There's lots of songs where I like the steps, but I'm always up for playing a good edit.

I think they could have made Leading Cybers steps a little biy harder in the beginning.

Rhythm and Police's gallops piss me off. They put those there just to have gallops in the song!!! They should have 1/16 triples or something that fit the music.....

I agree with So Deep. Every part of that song is perfectly done.

Also, as impossible as it is, PSMO has some nicely written steps.

I agree with So Deep. The steps fit so well with the music.
I think the steps for Era (nostalmix) on heavy are perfect. It goes with the beat of the song really well.

I don't like A on standard. I can't explain it. I just think they could have made it a bit better

so deep is pretty good, but it's actually fairly repetitive, so... *shrug*

Best steps ever:

Silent Hill 3rd Christmas. The freezes at the end start on some bells, and also they end exactly on them also, and they're so fun too.

Steps that suck and could be better:

e-motion

I like the song, but the steps are poo.

The steps for Tsugaru, Broken My Heart, Gentle Stress (AMD mix), Gradiusic Cyber (AMD mix), and Insertion (all on Heavy) put me in sheer ecstasy. There are ways they can be better, but as they are they are awesome.

I agree with Break Down standard. Bouncing around like that is fun!

Best Light steps: Paranoia Max Dirty Mix (another), Double. Nothing beats those steps!

I am disappointed by Brilliant 2U Orchestra-Groove's Heavy Steps. The steps to Standard actuallly follow the music, and they are infinitely more fun.

Who doesn't like turning on Silent Hill 3rd Christmas Mix's freeze arrows?

Shining Polaris Heavy = sucks
Shining Polaris Heavy + Shuffle = biggrin.gif
