What kind of ddr players are at your arcade?
Mine is like this:
1337 n00b- this is the guy who plays on light and comes with like 15 friends and thinks they are the 1337357 thing to ever grace ddr
Barhugging noob- This is the dude who bar hugs on every song on light mode -_-
The Bar Hugger Intermediate- This is the dude who bar hugs the bar on every song on heavy
The "1337" bar hugger- This is the dude who comes in like he owns the machine and tries to showoff by playing maxes, PS, etc. while hanging on the bar like Mj hanging on to a little boy. And when you ask him to try it without the bar he says he cant
The Pimp- The man who walks in and plays double and is godly at it
The pimps friend-The guy who can pass PSMO without the bar
and thats it I guess |

I play at a crappy place...
N00bs: 90% of the time. They have no clue how to play..stomping hard on the arrow and staying in the center all the time. (These people get me irratated). I tell them to position their feet correctly, but do they ever? NOPE!
Basic players: 50% of the time They play on light, they know how to set of their feet correctly. They do not annoy me nearly as much.
Standard: 25% of the time. These people are a needle in a haystack for me. They are my level, and it is fun to play with them. I seek for these players.
Heavy: 10% of the time. Only ONCE I've seen someone play this well...
I gotta find another arcade to go to... |

So what would your definition of godly on double be? And why would playing DDR make anyone a "pimp"? |

It seems that, for every DDR/Bemani arcade location that I've been to, whether it's in Glendale, Eagle Rock, Burbank, LA, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, San Bernardino, Upland, Ontario, Rowland Heights, Walnut, Jurupa, Corona, Riverside, Moreno Valley or anywhere in the Southern CA region, there's always those certain types of players who like a specific genre of songs & who always have a specific type of group that's there every weekend. Is that a trip or what? Please reply, over! Thanks!

Let's see...in my area, there's:
Casey: The best player in the area. Unfortunately, his ego matches his skill, so if you don't do better than him, he makes sure you know it.
Me, Howie: The 2nd best player, and the only one in my area with any humility. Casey is so far ahead of me that the lesser players shoot for topping me instead. The only serious doubles player in my area.
J.J.: Probably the third best. Claims he's better than me, but will only face me under certain conditions. (Ten-footers illegal, speed mods allowed, no Cartoon Heroes or Leading Cyber)
Arkansas: Nicknamed after the state he moved from. Bigger ego than Casey. Takes pleasure in beating everyone he can by raping So Deep. Most likely gets a boner just hearing the preview on the Song Select screen.
Random Children: End of the Century, Afronova, and Holic. All night long. 'Nuff said.
Rednecks: Speaks for itself. A bunch of idiots who will rape anything mainstream. Most play once. Maybe one out of every 25 will seriously get into it.
That's a sample of my arcade. Great place, huh? _________________

Is Chuck E Cheese considered as an arcade? |

Guys, if the topic has anything to do with an Arcade, there's a really good chance that it belongs in the DDR Arcade forum.
Such as this. _________________
