Blank banner ad generating pop-ups

Sometimes at the top of the page I notice there is just a blank white space instead of a banner, and about 5 seconds later I get a pop-up. I right-clicked to see its address, and it was a really long one; the first part of it is http://view.atdmt.com/VON/iview/rydmnvon00400336von/direct/

Edit: This is what it looks like, I moved it over to show the blank banner.

I only posted part of the link because there was information I think is unique to everyone's ISP, and because the whole thing is quite long.

This pop-up (for Classmates.com) appeared on the Post a reply page (http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/posting.php?mode=reply&t=77766) but I get this and other pop-ups across all of the forums whenever that blank banner ad is at the top of the page.

I downloaded Ad-Aware, and although it DID rid my system of 400+ advertising objects, I still get that darned blank banner ad on top of the screen, along with a pleasant pop-up (that gets blocked by the software I just purchased).
I went on my mom's laptop today to see if the same thing would happen, but I only got one banner ad (I forget what it was for) and it wasn't the blank one.
I'm just confused now.

I just updated it after reading your post; Ad-aware found more objects on my hard drive but that blank banner ad is still there and it's stil generating popups (that get blocked).
