Read the Read - Me about how to make Non Stop Courses.

If you can't find the read me, heres a quick course:

This is a Paranoia course that I made recently:

#COURSE:Paranoid;
#SONG:DDR/PARANOiA ETERNAL:MANIAC:1.5x;
#SONG:DDR/PARANOIA survivor:MANIAC:1.5x;
#SONG:DDR/PARANOIA survivor MAX:CHALLENGE:1.5x;
#SONG:DDR/Paranoia:MANIAC:1.5x;
#SONG:DDR/Paranoia M:MANIAc:1.5x;

First line is the name of the course, followed by #SONG:SONG FOLDER/SONG/DIFFICULTY:MODIFIER(S);

If you want to make a Challenge course, it would look like this:

#COURSE:All Challenge;
#LIVES:4;
#SONG:*:CHALLENGE;
#SONG:*:CHALLENGE;
#SONG:*:CHALLENGE;
#SONG:*:CHALLENGE;
#SONG:*:CHALLENGE;

The only difference between that and the Non-Stop is that the Challenge course has a #LIFE:(1-10);, meaning, think Oni from MAX1.

But back to the Non-Stop help.

Say you want a course that has Rythm and Police, then Na-Na, then Drill Inspector, all Standard and the last Heavy, and the course name as Hopper, you'd set it up like this:

#COURSE:Hopper; (the course name)
#SONG:DDR/R&P:TRICK:; (Rhythm and Police, Standard, No modifyers)
#SONG:DDR/NA-NA:TRICK:1.5x; (Na-Na Standard with X1.5 Scroll speed)
#SONG:DDR/DRILL INSPECTOR:MANIAC:2x; (Drill Inspector with X2 Scroll speed)

Of course, you'd switch the DDR with the required folder.

Hope this helps!

As for software that makes remixes...I too would like one, I want to remix a GOOD MAX300 remix.

If you need more help, feel free to ask, I'll be glad to help!

And happy thanksgiving all!

In the course folder.

And for music remix. You can simply get Goldwave or Acid Pro for free or something, but if you want professional remixing, get Fruity Loops.

Open your StepMania main folder, then courses, and if you want it to be the easiest, when you go to open a .CRS file, hit "Open With..." and then check the box that says Always open these kind of files with this program and select Text Pad as your program and it should work like a charm. If you need more help, ask away. nerd.gif

For remixing you could buy nero and it comes with a little WAV editing program. It also converts to MP3 so don't worry. It isn't the best for total DJ remixing but it can speed up songs. Here's How:
1. Open the MP3/WAV you want to edit.
2. Hit "Ctrl+A" to select the whole song.
3. Go Under Tools>Transpose. Turn off "Matain Original Legnth"
4. Use the interval to select how fast you want to speed up the song. REMEMBER THIS NUMBER!!!!
5. Now it is going faster but the people sound like squeaky idiots. disgust.gif There is a solution. biggrin.gif
6. Go under transpose and turn on "Matain Original Legnth" then set the interval to negative whatever number you selected the firs time.
7. Now the people sound in the same voice tone but are going much faster! E4.gif
