Idea for ps2 control box

If anyone has ever seen a knock-off dvd remote they usually have a connector under it that lets a controller go through. I was think that by eliminated the wireless remote and giving it a new look it would look like a control box for any ps2 pad.

heres a pic of the remote that has that connecter im talking about.


If it is impossible to wire a wireless remote i was think of just putting them right next to each other inside the control box:


I get free dvd remotes (after mail in rebates) from compusa so it is okay if i rip one appart. I jus want to see your thoughts on this. The total cost should be about 20 bucks at the MOST. Buying a dvd remote, extension cords, and box of some sort to put it in.[/i]
