I downloaded some original DWIs to play on Stepmania, and put them in their own song folder, but they won't load when I load Stepmania. Anyone else have this happen to them? How can I fix this? I really wanted to try some of them.

Also, are there any sites with premade song folders for a mix or all of the mixes?

Here are 2 places I would look online for more song packs, oni courses, fanmade songs, etc. If you don't know what Bittorrent is, I would strongly recommend downloading the client and finding out more about it, since its the easiest way to find what you're looking for.

http://www.ddramerica.com/bttracker/ - Bittorrent tracker with pretty much every single song mix, fanmade mix and other fun stuff E4.gif

http://www.ddruk.com - Has a download section with oni courses, upgrade themes, etc.

To fix your song loading problem; make sure each song is grouped like this in the Song Folder. Each song needs to have its own file folder with at least the DWI file and an MP3 file (note picture files are optional).

Step Mania Folder --> Song Folder --> Mix Folder (1st Mix, 2nd Mix, etc) --> Each Individual Song Folder (Midnite Blaze, Destiny Lovers, etc) --> DWI File + MP3 file + any picture files

If you don't have your songs foldered like that, they won't load properly. Hope that helps.

Dancing Mad Kefka, your problem is probably this, you don't have a folder, then a sub-folder.

Here, I'll show you an example:

Stepmania>Songs>DDR>Sakura

I'll bet you had:

Stepmania>Songs>Sakura

You need to have that folder like DDR or Dancing Mad Kefka's favorites.

Hoped this helped!

Actually he said he had duplicate folders, so probably:
Song -> Originals -> Originals -> Mr. Wonderful
But he fixed it and it works
