Need help with my RO ignitions

My ignitions are just about dead, and although one of them is still in working order, the other just died on me today. The lights still light up, but the buttion presses won't register. Im going to try splicing the wire with an old PS controller, but before I do that, is there anything less destructive to try?

yeah . . . you can of course, contact RedOctane and tell them about your issues . . . they may posibly do something about it . . . oh and not to mention . . . how did those ignition pads perform before they broke? I was wondering because i was thinkin of buyin one for my b-day . . . r those pads of worthy quality?

Well I don't think RO would do anything about it, as they are a year old, and have been through many many hours of heavy play time. As for the quality? Yes, they are excellent. Worth every penney. They were actually way better than I expected.
