I'm moving house and I want a big metal pad to play DWI and SM with.
However, I want it to be able to play DDR and PIU simulations (if I ever get around to getting the PIU thing on SM to work!).
So erm, does anyone know how to build a pad with all the necessary arrows and have it so I can just plug it into my PC, do minimal setup, and play?
Thanks for any help!
P.S> I know there's a guide elsewhere for the DDR only one for modding a PSX pad, so that won't help me _________________

actually, my plan was for doubles pads so id have 18 buttons in total.
basically, each half (or 1p/2p side) would have nine buttons and would look sorta like the 1-9 keys on a standard keyboard numpad. the 2,4,6,8 key positions for DDR and the 1,3,5,7,9 key positions for PIU (and 7,9 for ddr on solo) so that in a single big 18 buttoned lump ive got metal pads to play ddr, ddr doubles, ddr solo, piu, and piu doubles.
im not good at knowing how to do anything, so i wouldnt know how to modify existing designs.
plus i thought it might be handier to mod a keyboard rather than a couple of PS pads because ill probably never be playing the PSX versions i have (it way more fun playing DWI originals)
but if anyone can get it working with either a keyboard or a couple of PSX pads with a PSX->USB cable than all help is GREATLY appreciated
and if i am given a way to make these im sure a website shall be made for it, heh. _________________

Take a look in the DDR Console section for a few plans and designs. Come back here to look for PSX -> USB adapters. _________________
