Theme Error

I got stepmania CVS 3.9 Alpha 7 and downloaded the anime toshokan theme Love Rhaspody. I can get to selecting 1 or 2 players screen, but after that stepmania closes and I get the error;

Theme metric 'ScreenSelectDifficulty : InfoPage2Choice5Y' could not be found in 'Themes/Love Rahpsody/metrics.ini' or 'Themes/default/metrics.ini'.

Did you happen to use the stepmania converter tool by any chance?

Ok here is the most likely solution to your problem

go download the 3.0 final, and try it then, most likely, alot of themes for final releases cannot be used for cvs versions. i found that out when i tried to use the 5th mix theme on 3.9 alpha 7.

besdies where else is a good area to get themes

In the recent CVS releases they have changed the names of the files for the themes. You can either find themes that have been modified to work with the current releases, or I suppose you could just rename the proper files yourself.

I personally would say your best bet is to just use the default theme (which also lowers your chance of crashing due to theme error) until 4.0 final comes out (yeah right).
