Hasn't this issue come up enough? Acrylic = bad, they're more on the brittle side and if you plan to use your pad for a decent amount of time...well, just don't plan it. Get a BNS, RO, or CF.

I agree with ziggy. I am going to buy one of the xbox versions of these pads when neogames9 gets em. I heard this idea in another topic: "I put fiberglass (the stuff they make snowboards with) over my buttons. The only way they'll crack now is if you take a sledge hammer to em about 20 times." That's completely true. I snowboard, and I've put my board through a *poop* load. Trust me, it'll work.

No. Just cut out some squares of fiberglass so that they fit right inside the frame of the arrow. You could put duct tape on the outsides of the arrows to keep them pushed in towards the center to keep em in place if you wanted, or you could just duct tape each side of the square on top of the pad.

there not bad at all.... all you need to do is mod them with some lucite plastic, and get 1/8 foam insulation... and u have the true arcade expeirence (with brackets :\) at ur own home... pretty neat.... i'd highly reccommend them, its like a cheap real pad.

Althought i Dont actually OWN a NEO pad. I think they are similar to the CG pads. Quite frankly. IMO i think that if you play ddr and DO NOT know what you are doing sometimes (Soungs like Cartoon heroes) they will Frick them up. When i got my CG and modded it, I had no problems at all. However, I let my friend who is a noobie to heavy mode, play on them and after about 5 hours the pads BROKE. I'm trying to apply a new circuit board as we speak. SO what i'm going to say is: If you can't read arrows on heavy and randomly step on arrows (like what i do on xtra stage maxx(Period)) Dont buy these. If you can do good on heavy then get them. If you have a friend come over who can't do this, i suggest u put the metal pad under the carpet and bust out your dead softpad. laugh.gif
