i was wandering if it may be possiblet to wire a psx to usb adapter, using an ps extension cable, and a usb extension cable.

It definitely wouldn't be that simple. The data transmission protocols and speeds are totally different. About the only thing the connections have in common is electrons traveling over a conductive medium. ;-)
