Sup everyone!? This is that King Iceman speaking. I'm not gonna go into a lot of details other than I'm trying to make website about my club in Penn State known as the "New Revolution" club.

I've downloaded a frick stack of DDR Midis. Then i uploaded them on to my website but the wont play in the back ground. I would really appreciate it if some one could tell me how to play the midis as BG music on my page.

all depends, do you do HTML etc... also who hosts the page? I know geocities has a pagebuilder, easy to use and has a button for uploading backround music..

Penn State, huh? My brother is going to college there. What does your club consist of? I'll have to let him know about it.

The correct answer to this dilemma is that you should not EVER design a website with MIDI music in the background. EVER.

I suppose you're planning to use animated .gifs, frames and scrolling text too....

There is nothing wrong with midis, animated gifs, frames, and scrolling text in web pages...if used properly...the midi's would need an interface to turn them on (having them defaulted to off), and the others should be used sparingly...so that you won't lag your visitors into oblivion...but anyway, back on topic...I suggest going to www.webmonkey.com...they have lots of HTML and Java stuff and such...you should be able to find what you are looking for there...

Just put this in your page source...

<CENTER><DD><EMBED SRC="blah.mid" WIDTH=0 HEIGHT=0 AUTOSTART=TRUE>
<HR width="100%"></DD></CENTER>

...It'll start playing automatically, and the controls will be hidden. Make sure the filename is in quotes, and you used the proper upper/lowercase. Web servers always have case sensitive file calls.
