We are in the process of updating our tips and guides section but, we need your help. We are looking for suggestions on what types of tips and/or guides you are looking to be here on DDRfreak.
If you have already written one, you can suggest it and mention you have one, but please hold off on submission until we're accepting them.
Please post your suggestions here. _________________

To clarify, in the near future, we're going to be revamping the Tips and Guides section of the site, much like we're currently doing with the Stepcharts (no, I promise! We really are!) and some other sections.
The exact format has not been finalized yet (so don't expect this tomorrow or even next week or anything; also, details are subject to change), but we're aiming to have some sort of user-based submission system. So this thread might be used to inspire people to write FAQs on things that they think they know pretty well. If you think you can help, or if someone suggests a topic you think you're an expert on, go ahead and start writing! _________________

Several things to help the tips and guides section...
I would like to see some tips on this site on how to fix DDR pads at an arcade. Any arcade manager, or anyone that owns a DDR machine could help here.
How to run a tournament -- I think NOR asked for people's feedback a few months ago, but nothing has surfaced because of it (or if it has, please show the way, thx).
As an addition to this, I would like to see something on asking companies for sponsorship.
Freestyling -- As much as I love and respect the people that have provided tips for freestyling, I think you should ask some other people how they prepare to perform or how they come up with freestyles.
dj 8-ball's guide is still great because it talks about preparation and mental toughness for a tournament instead of how to come up with a performance.
I don't know how old those freestyle guides are, but how many of those players still freestyle? Probably just three or four. Heck, Hikari even said in that guide "I don't freestyle much."
DDR Ships to America -- The first line in the guide says..."This week marks the official release of Dance Dance Revolution for the PlayStation® game console. "
That alone needs some updating. There's some other stuff in that guide that needs tweaking.

I wrote this one. But if there are others, I don't mind. _________________
