I've been playing Konamix for about 1 month now. I have gotten to the point where I have passed most every song and now Im just going through and trying to A all the basics then move onto tricks, etc. Well I have A 5 footers no problem on the first couple try's, but when it comes ot the easy songs (1-3 footers) I seriosly have a problem doing it. It took me about 10 try's on a 3 footer because I kept missing one foot (pad issues I think, or just stupidity). Its always on the SLOW songs that go on and on. Does anyone else have this problem?

I also got my PS2 today and going to get DDRMAX and MAX2, No more konamix for me!

Yes, yes, I've had this problem for quite sometime now. I can AA most all songs like 5-7 footer, no problem, but I DO have a problem doing it to most songs on light. For me, I think it is eaiser to stay on beat when there are a lot of 8th notes in there and the song is faster. I just have a hard time keeping my attention on songs like Remember You goog.gif So yes, I feel your pain.... no pun intended! laugh.gif

Just curious, what pun wasn't intended? E19.gif But I agree with you. I'm pretty sure the reason (for me at least) is that all the space between arrows gives you time to second guess your self, and that's when things go south. Thus proving: You cannot think whatsoever while playing DDR!

I've noticed that it's easier to play those songs if you make yourself continue to move to the beat even when there's no steps. Follow the base line and kinda keep dancing around, just watching the screen for arrows so you'll hit the right one when an arrow comes up.

Are these just fast or slow songs your talking about? Or all songs in general? I seem to have this problem with songs that have a slower beat than others. I think anything slower than 150 or 140 gets hard for PA on light. I'll go back and check it out. Might have gotten over it already. E1.gif
