Where can I find a review of the CF with lots of picture and stuff? Also, I read that all the circuits and stuff are in the C-Box, and that if your pad start to bug on you, you just replace the C-Box. So what is there no way that the contacts in the CF could mess up? What if one of the wires comes loose that it attached to the sensor? Also, I read that you have to rebend the Sheet Metal, how do you do this? Do you open up the arrow panel (does this void the warranty)? Also, is it very hard to do?

I don't know of any reviews with lots of pictures, but I will say, the pad does look very nice, no lights though, and I know that throws some people off.

Lets start from the top for your questions:

Yes, all of the circuitry is in the control box, if you have a problem that occurs, and the box is plugged in but not connected to the pad, and the problem still exists, its usually the control box, and CF will replace those for free during your 6 month warrenty. it IS possible that the sheet metal on sheet metal contacts for the CF pad could mess up, as mine have done once or twice. Problem one is that a static charge might build up, and to fix that, you just clean the pad. Problem 2 is the not so good one, where the very bottom piece of sheet metal, when pressure is applied to the pad's center, will curve up and touch the up arrow, triggering it. I'm told that this issue has been fixed now, and by looking at my friend's 4 month newer than mine pad, I'd mostly agree, but I haven't fully examined the changes. On rare occasions, you might want to rebend the sheet metal that is the arrows. You can do this when you clean the pad. Just remove the lexan covering, and remove the sheet metal arrow from the velcro it is attached to. Then, if the arrow seems excessively curved down, bend it back up, not too difficult. Openning the pad does not void the warrenty, their support will actually tell you to open the pad up on numerous occasions so you can fix any issues that occur. Hope this helps.

Hmm, as soon as I get alittle free time I'll take some pictures of my pad while it's opened up and give you a good idea of what it's like to play on as soon as I get some time, personally I would reccomend going all the way and getting the doubles kit, I still regret not saving a little more money for the kit.

If you're in a rush you can check out the CF forums at their site, that's where I went for all my info before I bought one.

The CF web site has a number of user-submitted reviews, and a few of them have a variety of pictures included.

Also, on the cobaltflux website, in the lower right hand corner, you can view some videos of the pad in action on some songs such as Matsuri Japan and Orion.78
