I'd stick with the water, only because soda shakes up inside of you and causes cramps while you are playing. But I'll remember that refill tip, thanks! |

Even better trick at my McDonalds (which happens to be one block from where I play DDR):
They have an ATM machine that, when used, prints out a coupon for a free soda (which is normally $1). The problem here is, the machine deducts ($1.50 transaction). Well, if you chose ''Account Balance'' instead of a withdrawl, it doesn't deduct the $1.50 (at least for me, your mileage may vary), but still prints out a coupon for a free soda.

Since my DDR machine is in the middle of the food court, there is a Mc Donalds right above my head. The only problem with my Mc Donalds is they are the biggest Soda Penny Pincher Gods! If I try to go and refill my soda one of the Mc Donalds ladies yells at me asking if I can read the sign which states 27 cents for all refills

Not to argue here, but the point of free refills is to enjoy during the meal you have purchased at that restaurant. Playing DDR, coming back, and filling your cup sounds like cheating the system a bit, doesn't it?
I work in a restaurant and we have free refills. I've seen several kids come in - one buys a drink - and somehow all eight of them manage to get their fill from that one cup. Ugh. We used to have a really good woman working here (you might say "bitch") who would mark the cup and only allow one refill. If you left the store and came back inside, you gave up your right to refill your cup.
I'm not saying I'm better than you about this. In fact, I do it too. When I eat at Wendy's and stuff I'll drink all my coke and fill my cup again just before leaving. Wendy's gives you a new cup the second time, so my friend sometimes gets a refill he doesn't want so I can have it. No need to "biggie size" when refills are free, eh? |

I always do that at McDonalds. But I've never seen a DDR Machine near a McDonalds where I live. |

Mine does... and it's RIGHT BESIDE the DDR machine!
Plus, it's so easy to sneak other drinks in there, so when you're done with the drink you bought, you can fill it up with water at the water fountain.
Seems a lot easier than going back and forth to McDonalds, and getting soda... _________________

I just walk down the same wing of the mall to Sbarro's and get a free water. Then later I go up with my friend and get 2 waters. They are both free, and he never wants his, so I get both. _________________

YES soda dehydrates you... and it gives me cramps... so i dunn drink soda that often unless I can't seem to find any water around but usually I just bring a bottle with me to play now... since I have some lying around the house
Oh and my Mcdolnalds does refills! but that's not anywhere near my local arcade... _________________
