Which Beatmania would you choose?

Hi folks.

I'm getting a nice check back from the school for an over loan they gave me, so I'm planning to get a Beatmania machine. It's not anywhere near IIDX money, otherwise I'd be bugging Madkow (see his thread in the marketplace) for his system.

So, the debate I have is this...which IIDX to purchase?

The choices are as follows.

Beatmania Complete
Beatmania 6th
Beatmania: The Final

Which would you rather have? Which has the best music on it?

Go for Beatmania III The Final if possible, otherwise fall back to Beatmania III 7th Mix. Beatmania III games have a shitload of songs, a floppy drive to save scores, two headphone jacks, and enough effectors to keep you amused for a long time. Don't bother with the original BM I series. There won't be enough there to keep your attention indefinitely.

And it's not for me. It's for a local arcade where I keep my 8th mix, 4th mix, and Soul Cal 2. I want to get more bemani, and something that'll bring in some interest. It'll be the only beatmania machine within around 100 miles. the closest one will be Dallas.

HOLY HELL, MAN. Delete that link and guard your find. ;-) I'm not sure how the song list would be on BM I The Final, but it's probably worth playing. And at that price, shoot.
