I've been thinking lately (usually after i play ddr) what it really takes to be a pro. I don't know if I'm really good or not, I'm just confused! E19.gif I started playing in August about once or twice a week whenever I feel like it... I don't think I'm bad, I do get A's often on many songs its just that I'm going through a process of paranoia... drool.gif

Yup, Practise, which in turn gets you:

~sight reading skills
~Stamina
~technique
~Rhythm

Most beginners have 1 of these at most E1.gif

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

As of now I'd consider myself a pro, not competitive, but a pro none-the-less. My biggest problem that continues to reoccur is stamina, that's the kind of stuff that only comes from playing at the arcade alot, unless you have a metal pad at home. Soft pads don't do much to improve stamina for me, but my Cobalt Flux tires me out real quick, just like the arcade.

Well, by definition, being a professional means following an occupation as a means of a livelihood; a person who earns a living in an occupation frequently engaged in by amatuers.

So when you get paid to play ddr, you're a professional nerd.gif

Errr, yeah, I don't think anyone is technically a professional DDR player (making a living out of playing it).
