I've been thinking lately (usually after i play ddr) what it really takes to be a pro. I don't know if I'm really good or not, I'm just confused! I started playing in August about once or twice a week whenever I feel like it... I don't think I'm bad, I do get A's often on many songs its just that I'm going through a process of paranoia... |

Yup, Practise, which in turn gets you:
~sight reading skills
~Stamina
~technique
~Rhythm
Most beginners have 1 of these at most _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

As of now I'd consider myself a pro, not competitive, but a pro none-the-less. My biggest problem that continues to reoccur is stamina, that's the kind of stuff that only comes from playing at the arcade alot, unless you have a metal pad at home. Soft pads don't do much to improve stamina for me, but my Cobalt Flux tires me out real quick, just like the arcade. _________________

Well, by definition, being a professional means following an occupation as a means of a livelihood; a person who earns a living in an occupation frequently engaged in by amatuers.
So when you get paid to play ddr, you're a professional |

Errr, yeah, I don't think anyone is technically a professional DDR player (making a living out of playing it). _________________
