Drfting Away
I'm a HUGE fan of DJ Micro and this song was on one of his CDs, it bacme one of my favorite songs instantly. Then, I was at the mall and on DDRMAX2 I heard it, and saw this guy play it on heavy and was dumfounded, so now it has become my little obession, I recently got a B on it
God! I LOVE that song!
Oh, and Ghosts. I'm not sure where I've heard that song before, but when I heard it on DDR I was like, OMG! I love this song! I didn't know it was on DDR!?

I'ev gotta say Hot Limit on 5th mix I'd kinda got addicted to the "we drink ritalin" flash before i knew that it was on a machine, so i could sing the ritalin lyrics while i danced! _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

Yeah, So Deep is one of the best EVER DDR songs! I heard that somewhere else too, don't know where, but I was VERY excited when I heard it on DDR. I like Sandstorm too, when I heard it on DDRMAX, that was all I played for a while, it was great!
Zeta: You're too cool, my 3 fav DDR songs of all time are: So Deep, Ghosts, and Drifting Away, you and I would get along just fine!

Ghosts nuff said that has to be 1 of the best songs to come out in DDR history, I really wasn't too thrilled when the IIDX songs came to extreme and were labeled (For Extreme) they were shortened horribly and they jus gotten easily played out, especially my personal favorites Frozen Ray and Stoic, I almost cried, IIDX songs i think shoulda stayed in IIDX, same goes w/ the PnM songs, Daikenkai gives me nightmares for being everyone's choice song |

I have quite a few...when I first started playing DDR, I thought basically all of the music was JPOP / Japanese Techno / Music that can't even be classified (Paranoia?). Then I got Stepmania...
So Fabulous So Fierce - I couldn't believe it! I love Le Freak!
Shake Your Booty - KC & The Sunshine Band! Sweet!
That's The Way (I Like It) - KC & The Sunshine Band Again! Swweeeeeeet!
Never Ending Story - That's just such a classic movie.
Burning Heat! (3 Option Mix) - I'd been thinking how cool it would be to have some video game song to dance to. Fav song right here.
Get Up (Before the Night is Over) - I just couldn't get that scene from Space Jam outta my head when I heard this.
That's enough outta me, but yeah, I've been quite pleasantly surprised by the variety of music in DDR. Good topic Syxx. _________________

And to fake Syxx, I think having the beatmania and IIDX, and all the other bemani songs in DDR is great! Almost all of them are excellent, and they give the game a little bit more character. |
Fake syxx huh? look who registered first sorry but it seems ur the fake 1. hehehehe
but other than giving it more character, i really think Konami shouldn't have cut the songs short, despite the fact that some IIDX songs are 2 minutes in length or more, at least it woulda fit better like that in DDR, i mean, the best example would be L'Amour et Le Liberte, that song got a serious beating by taking of the main part of the song which was the piano solo, same w/ frozen ray, the part that is ONLY piano got taken off also, thats what i would be referring to. |

One of the classic (and best) happy hardcore songs by one of my favorite artists..when i first saw it on 4th/5th mix..i was like <3 <3 <3. It's the only reason i go play our 4th mix occasionally (and yes, i sing along during the song too) _________________

No flamewars now plz. |

Oh yeah! I forgot all about the Neverending Story. That movie rocks! And the song, really cool, oh, and Somewhere Over the Rainbow, how can you NOT like the Wizzard of Oz? Or that song, its even better in DDR, I like it all technoed out.
(hmmmm...I think I made up a new word....technoed ) _________________
