Has any1 ever made a girlfriend while playing DDR? I was down the beach last week and met mine after playing Burning the Floor on maniac (don't ask). Anyway I was just wondering cause iI thought it was kinda wierd.

I'm not a guy but on the flip side... I've met a few guys while playing DDR. My (at the time) boyfriend was the one that played first and I slowly picked up from him. I haven't dated any of them but they are really good friends of mine.

Yea same here I'm a lil' shy sometimes. But what I'm mostly scared about is when I see a really hot girl watching me play and then me messing up. That scares me. * Note to self, don't play legend of max when girl seen near ddr.

Oh yeah DDR is the perfect dating service. w00ty! OH YEAH! Nah I meet girls actually some times after I play DDR. Though showing confidence and respect for what they have to say is truly important. Giving them that charm that they feel worth your time instead of talking about yourself and a stupid arrow smashing game to them doesnt seem too entertaining. (Unless) they play.

I meet girls everywhere. 99% of my friends are female. 6 of them have liked me as a boyfriend not because of DDR.

Naw, I wouldn't be interested because I am attracted to a someone and I hope to get her into DDR. Plus when I play sometimes I like to play with friends and myself. I won't play with n00bs reason being cause I can't and won't always pick the songs I want to play. Anything but Butterfly!! That song make my ears bleed by hearing it too much! And they play the stupid Beginner mode, no BG background. Play on Light and I might consider...

Yep, Hate playing with nOObs. Just yesterday night this 12-13 yr. old kid wanted to come on my game. being the nice guy I am (dam me for it) I let him play, not knowing he was a nOOb . Then I found out and I had to set the whole game up for him. Then when I wanted to choose a song, he didnt want to play anything that wasnt a 1 footer. and I wanted to play bag on heavy x3 speed, grrr, then I let him pick since he didnt like the lvl. he chose butterfly

then he chose some crappy naoki songs. again, dam my kindness...

i first met my boyfriend via ddrfreak. i thought he was an ass though so i ended up blocking him on msn. then i met him in real life at a ddr gathering and thought he was a bigger asshole so i ignored him. then somehow, a few months later, we became friends and now we're going out.

Everyone tells me I'm a loner. And I really am.
I meen I have established lots of friends, and can hang out with them and all, but when it comes to introducing myself to new people, or getting a conversation started, I just simply can't do it. I hate bullsh** first off, that's my problem. It's not that I don't want to talk to them, it's that I don't know what they are interested in, and I hate having to pry that out of people. It's stupid.

Second, I've always had a low self-esteem when it comes to girls. I've never really had a compliment from a girl. Even the girls that play DDR. I put blood and sweat into trying to do my best, and when I finally passed Max 300 (being the first in my town to get an A on it), nobody even gave me a pat on the back, or a "good job". I'd like to think it is because they are too shy, or they don't want to bother me, but I'm starting to think nobody likes me, and I don't know why.

I was starting to feel like things are a waist of time of the opposite sex doesn't appreciate it. Sure some of my friends appreciate my DDR skill, or my other skills, but when the sex you are attracted too doesn't even give a damn, or talk to you, it all feels pointless. Someday maybe I will find a match for me, but right now, I can only do things for myself. Nobody else cares.

Well, I don't HAVE to be single. I mostly just choose to be. I mean, there is a 17 yr. old that wants to go out with me. And I'm only 15

but there is one girl that I like that does play ddr and goes to my school. I just don't know if she likes me like that.

but I wanna get the courage to ask her out I just can't. But who knows?

. cause im only 13... and i can do most of the songs on heavy... but not like... the max's.... soo..... its just the kid that sucks

I've met alot of chix through DDR and tought some of em how to play, but I usually see them once or twice so nothing happens...that's why you go to school u meet chix and see em everyday and go out with em

Dating a girl from meeting during DDR is a fantasy I'll never experience. Heck, I'm still working on just meeting girls in REAL LIFE. Finding a girl with common interests or anything... with me is a rarity. ;_;

Then welcome to Covina California, Where the girls are babes, they love DDR and love anime. The girl I like....damn she and I have the same interests. We both draw, we both play ddr, we both have similar personalities, and we both have high standard career objectives in life. (she wants to be a doctor, I want to be a psychologist). But there are tons of fun girls here. you just gotta find one that likes you. I wanna ask Steph out but I'm shy

I may ask her out next school year but who knows. I dont even know if she likes me like that. I know she likes me as a REALLY good friend but whatever. who knows,.
