This is my first post on DDR freak and I can bet it wont be my last. This is my situation......
I own an X-box and a psx
I have 5 of the DDR for psx
I cant wait for Ultra Mix for Xbox
My Questions are.....
1. If I am looking to buy 1 pad now for the psx and then buy the adaptor which pad should I get(i dont wanna spend over 60)
2. Where could I find an adaptor for the Xbox to allow me to play my psx pad on it.
3. How do I mod my pad to make it last alot longer
Thanks |

Save up 40 more bucks and get yourself an RO Ignition, it'll last you longer if you're just starting out. I've had mine for 5 months and it's worked without a hitch despite heavy 10 footers. It's better to make your first purchase a good one than run through a bunch of crappy pads. |

Yes. Yes they are. I got my RedOctane 2 days ago and it's the coolest pad ever. It's so amazingly cool, it's cool.
well metal pads are still better, but more expensive so yeah |

Yeah, RO does make pretty good pads, but I just ordered my metal Cobalt Flux. But if you're not too hardcore about it the RO Ignitions are a good choice. |

You can definitely go with a RO Ignition pad and have it work for a really long time. Or, you can go the route i took and build your own. If you know someone with tools, and you're quite careful when building it, you can have a cobalt flux-quality pad thats easily fixable, not to mention customizable.

I have no clue what a cobalt-flux is. I was also wondering if there was a way to mod my pad so that it could be hard and also removeable so i can take it places if I wanted. If not could some one tell me how to mod a non metal pad so it feels like on and what to put over the top so i can ddr with shoes and not ruin my pad. WOOT |
