I bought a metal pad off ebay a while back and tbe guy who sold it to me no longer has an account so I couldn't get ahold on him (suspicious....maybe.) That's why I'm comming to you guys now.
A month or two ago I cracked the little black box that came with it, I thought there would be some kind of chipset or somthing but it was just wires connected to two buttons on top so I thought no damage could have been done and I duct-taped it back up. Worked fine for a week or two, then I took it to a party, and I couldn't get it to work at all. Me and someone else at the party took it apart and found the some of the wires had been ripped off the serial port. I was messing with it for a while trying to soder them on right but it never worked. I don't exactly know what brand or make it is, but here's a diagram I made up (my webcam isn't working or I would've taken a picture.)
If anyone has this same kind of metal pad with the start and select buttons on a little black box, could you please tell me how it is wired so I can get it working again? Thanks. |
