I introduced my sister about 4 weeks ago, and now she's hooked. I forget what tips helped me when I was a newbie, but she has the basic "put your foot on the arrow when it comes to the top" and mostly plays on standard, but she gets lost when those darned 8th arrows or 16th arrows come up, but she's bored with the songs that don't have them in it. any tips any at all?

I'm surprised that no one has responed to this one. Paticence and practice is the keys to anything. You might also want to check on the gameplay forum for more tips on this subject. For now, it's just a matter of realizing that it's the same patterns that she has seen before. It' just half or a quarter of the beat that she is stepping. when you see different color arrows you need to speed up your steps. I know that a little simplistic, but like I said for more info there is a lot of it on gameplay. |

Practice, practice, practice...that's how everyone get's better...
In terms of the quarter notes vs. eighth notes vs. sixteenth notes, the color is different, and although it takes a while to tune your eyes to see the difference, that's the key to being able to read said notes. _________________
