I was just wondering. I watched the steps fly by on Stepmania and... damn. That's nuts.

Yes, in Japan at least. I dunno about in the U.S. I doubt that anyone has done it.

I bet a lot more have by now, but by the time internet ranking was over, the only person who had finished it was Kobayan.

...of course, he's also the guy who AAAed MaxX Unlimited doubles heavy, so what did you expect?

Funny, I posted this exact question in the Down Under Forum

http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=68950

By the responses I got I guess nobody in that part of the world has passed it.

I also asked this question in the ONI thread in the Gameplay forum, no responses as yet.

You can download a video of Yasu passing Legend Road here:

Whoa whoa whoa...before the lock comes in for this thread not being in the gameplay forum, Akudaikan has AAAd a 9-footer on Double, but he has not AAAd Maxx Unlimited; only Kobayan has done that to my knowledge.

It seems kinda weird to me that people usually don't stop being impressed by DDR skill. When I started playing I couldn't pass Max 300 on light. It took me maybe 7 tries once I finally found out about it. Well, at that point seeing people play standard with AA would have impressed me. Then I slowly got better, I could pass Max300 Standard, and people playing heavy double seemed WOW to me. Well, I reached the point of AA heavy songs not named Cutie Chaser, and for some reason, people putting a triple A on the hardest possible songs doesn't really 'impress' me anymore.

While I can't do that anymore, I know that to them it's just like when I play easier songs. People watching me se me doing 5+ steps/second and getting reams of perfects, and they say WOW. Well, then I play a cata I get anywhere from E-A, and it always seems less impressive, yet that's actually harder for me. But while it's better than me to AAA 10-double, it's just they are that good, really we could all get there if wwe treat DDR as a serious activity, for me it's my sport. No soccer or basketball, nope DDR all the way. Just look at the DDR Freak icon.

Legend Road is an Oni course. Oni is kinda like nonstop, many songs get played in a row with no break in between. Only catch is, you gotta keep a combo, if you get 4 non combo steps (good or below) on any song its game over. Legend Road is an oni course that has some of the hardest songs in the game on it. HOpefully somone who has passed a course other than NAOKI standard can explain in more detail than me, I'm too tired to detail...

Legend road is an oni course.

All oni courses do not give the option to put mods in.

Anything short of a great, perfect or ok takes off a life, you get 4 lives.

Legend road has 5 songs.

Max 300
Maxx Unlimited
Sakura
The Legend of Max
Paranoia Survivor Max (oni steps)

In that order.

On extreme, they do a point system, whereas on Max2 they did a % system.

www.aaroninjapan.com covers oni well
