I am planning on buying a DDR machine and one of the key factors influencing my decision is:

As the mixes get better, do the pads improve with them? Or have they been using the same pad since 1st mix?
If I bought a 1st mix machine and Upgrated it to extreme, would the pad be much worse then if I had bought the actual 8th mix machine?

If any of you know much about this, your information is appreciated. biggrin.gif

Konami created it (DDR), RoXoR perfected it (ITG), and we should all respect them equally.

i would guess that older mixes have worse pads because of the amount playing they recieved over the years. and i think how well the machine was mantained is also a factor on the pad condition.

If you compared a brand new 2nd mix pad to a brand new extreme pad, I'm sure there would be very little difference, if any.
