I am going to mod my 2 soft pads soon and I want them to work well for doubles. Would it be best to have one large piece of wood to mount both pads to? Or could doubles still go well if I mount each pad on it's own individual piece of wood? Anyone done this before? E1.gif

i would decide to have just one big board. If you had to single ones, you should find a way to inter-lock the pads or else it would probably slip like a reg. pad. follow some of the soft pad modding ideas then customize them.

Neil_J is right, use one big piece of plywood and do a TommyGun mod on them.
