I tried this, I'm never doing it again, and you shouldn't either. DO NOT TRY VERY EASY SONGS ON YOUR KNEES! No matter how much fun it seemed, it wasn't. My knees were slick from doing DDR for about an hour in the arcade, decided to do a song on my knees, hit the panel, knee slid right into a screw. frust.gif That's my moment.

Funniest DDR moment?

I went to the beach and saw KiKi. She was all like "ughhhhhhh" And i'm like "Whatever."

Then this chick comes up to me and she's all like "Hey arent you that dude?" and i'm like "Whatever."

So later I'm...I'm at the pool hall and this girl comes up and she's all like "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" and i'm like "Yeah-WHATEVA!"

And then it's 3am i'm on the corner wearing my leather this dude comes up he's like "Hey Punk!" I'm like "Yeah whatever."

Then i'm throwing dice in the alley, officer LeRoy comes up "Hey I thought I told you..." and I'm like "YEAH WHATEVA!"

yup yup

the boy has learned about too many knee drops the hard way as well. I dunno, the most amusing thing was probably accidentally setting Love You Like a Fool on Beginner after playing difficult crap for 2 hours. We ended up just hand slapping all the arrows, crossing over and just pissing around through the whole thing, people didn't seem to understand why we were so amused by how easy it was. riiight.gif

I think this might be slightly funny but it's the best I can come up with,

I was playing Let's Groove Heavy on Max2... final stage so I can play maxx unlimited the best way. And some young kid pulls the fire alarm that turns off ALL the arcade machines... except the Max2 machine (still got my AA to complete it)

I'd have to say it was when:

I was playing the US 1st Mix. When I stepped up to the machine, I was paired up with this innocent looking 8 or 9 year old. I asked him, out of common courtesy, if he wanted to pick the songs that we would dance to. He accepted, of course, and here I am thinking that it'd be my normal routine of Have You Never Been Mellow, Boom Boom Dollar, and Butterfly. Well, he had picked AM-3P, and I was all 'Are you sure you want this one?' He nodded yes, and he picked it. I never seen a kid like him move so fast, and yet, he managed a C while I D'ed it. After that, it was Boom Boom Dollar, and we both got a B on it, which kind of shocked me. He picked Paranoia next, and we both failed it.

It just goes to show you that size doesn't matter...well, at least I laughed about it on the way home.

Funniest Moment, my g/f and I were playing the Naoki Standard oni on EX. She got to Burning The Floor and failed, and as I was finishing the song, she kicked the machine and I got distracted and failed. I think it was pretty funny, luckily she didn't damage anything.

I took my sister down to the arcade to play, as she's pretty much only played at home on her konamix (she still plays on basic/trick). She hadn't seen me play (the last time she saw me, I was doing .59 and EotC on basic =P) in a long time, so I decided to pick some crazy stuff to show her what I was capable of. Soooo... one Holic, Dead End, and Era later, I was panting next to her. She had barely noticed a thing, much to my dismay. Normally, I wouldn't be winded, but seeing as this was my first set of the day, it was a big much =P Anyway, she found Oops I Did It Again and jumped up and down. I smacked my up arrow until it was on basic, sat down on the pad, and told her to go ahead. I used my butt on the down arrow, my hands on the right and left arrows, and my feet on the up. I nearly FC'ed the whole damn thing =P

Who cares? It's a good song.

And as for the funniest thing ever...

B3. Psycho Joe. D2R Heavy as a freestyle song. A minute and a half of flailing.

I'll have to come back to this and plug the video when I encode it.

My funniest ddr moment... ooo, I know!

I was at the old arcade playing double, and i moved to the right side, and all the sudden there is this earth quake, and the whole left side of the arcade goes out. But the ddr machine, and the whole right side of the arcade is still on. So I'm like, Oh poopy (but i gotta keep goin), so in mid earthquake I am doing handplants to friggin dxy. While everyone else is ducked and covered. A couple people clapped after it was over (the quake wasnt that bad at all, but it lasted foreeeever).

Funniest moment........ would have to be when i was playing on a max2 machine. Then mid game, i saw this georgous gurl, and she said " Hey ur pretty good" And i turned and said "hey thanx" but as i turned, i tripped off the machine and landed on my buttocks. I got back up and finished my song. Everyone around me, including me were laughin like crazy. I still passed the song with a C lol!

Funny moment? Can you say kids are idiots?

I was watching this very talented DDR player, Cory from AZ, show off for the crowd at Fiddlesticks. It was his 1st song and he chose maxx unlimited, an easily passible song by him. There was quite a few people around the machine, so it was somewhat hard to see the gameplay. I'm standing to the right of the pads, and all of a sudden just when the song starts and Cory's about to hit his first arrow, some little kid pushing through the crowd to get a view spills his ENTIRE large popcorn all over the pads. Cory just stood there very cool, obviously mad, but he didn't blow up at the kid or anything. It was just damn funny.

One thing I won't forget is when these two kids at my arcade were freestyling Long Train Runnin', toward the end of the song one of them was doing multiple knee drops in a row, and on the last one, the arrow shattered.

It was like a slam dunk in basketball where the glass breaks.

'cuz this is obviously Vi0let's United States of Whatever.

The funniest moment in my DDR playing career is still the most embarrassing one, when I played Tubthumping and landed on my butt. Managed to get an arrow, too. @_@

I would have to say either when we did a sing-a-long on the 5th mix machine to hotlimit with about 10 kids on the pad. Or when my friend and I did a freestlye to Tsugaru and we just pretty much fight for real, but don't punch too hard. My friend moves toward me and I kind of slipped and punched him hard in the nose, it started bleeding he jumped off and I finished the song. Almost broke his nose, so it was a good thing I didn't punch really hard. E4.gif

My funniest moment would probably be when I was playing ddr a few years ago when I'd only ever heard of it in an arcade in New york, my cousin and me were playing and he was tooling all over the place then he got off when the scores came up so i just kinda stood on his pad then these people started to crowed around (and i was like 8) and they thought a little eight year old who didn't even tie his shoes could get an A on butterfly.
